Jan van der Velden participated in Orgalime General Assembly meeting on 18-19 November 2015 in Brussels. He took part in a panel session on digitalisation and jobs in the presence of Orgalime new President and European Commission’s Vice-President in charge of growth, Jyrki Katainen. Mr. van der Velden notably explained how Industry 4.0. is revolutionising materials handling and how it participates in increasing our companies competitiveness. He also stressed that in this context, legislation should provide a framework to support companies rather than obstruct them.
