FEM co-signed a letter with 6 other European associations the non-road mobile machinery sector.
In view of the waste database to be developed by end of 2019, we requested the European Commission to :
- Limit the information requested to manufacturers in line with the legal framework
- Carry out an impact assessment to avoid disproportionate and unjustified requirements
- Ensure our data will be handled in respect of the European intellectual property rights, data privacy and commercial secrets
- Protect our industry competitiveness and not to create a competitive disadvantage for equipment produced in the EU
