FEM and other machinery sectors have launched an Industry's Support Platform at the occasion of a conference on market surveillance for machinery organised by the European Commission on 24th November. In front of some 250 participants, the industry showed a concrete example of its commitment to take an active role in fighting the proliferation of non-compliant machinery on the EU market.

The launch coincided with the signature of a Manifesto that presents 10 key recommendations of the machinery industry for an efficient market surveillance in the EU.
